It's Memorial Day weekend! I can't believe it's here - in part because the weeks between April 2 and May 15 were spent helping my wonderful mother heal from a fall at my house (a post for another day, but suffice it to day that she now is the proud recipient of nine titanium pins in her strong little back!). Happily, Mother Nature (my other mother!) understands I'm getting back into the swing of things and is keeping the temp cool so I can enjoy being outside a bit more (though I know the heat is coming - I remember a law school prof of mine commenting that the summer in D.C. is like "living inside a dog's mouth". Truth.).
So here's a roundup of last week's activities:
* Two ebike rides to commute to my office in Georgetown. Srrrrriously, is there anything better than ebiking? I think not.
* A 10-mile walk on Saturday while I finished up my listen of Tim Glover's "Relentless" audio book.
* Cracked the Relentless paper book (it's sooo good).
* Watched five episodes of "The Last Dance," the ESPN/Netflix docuseries about Michael Jordan and the 1997-1998 Chicago Bulls season.
* One 24 hour intermittent fast (Noon Thursday - Noon Friday)
* Four servings of my amazing colleague Britney's famous banana pudding which she made me for my birthday
* One rose petal toss work break with my colleague Britney
* Two work coaching sessions
* Wishing my beautiful mama a happy 84th birthday!
* Camp clothes shopping for my girl
